My name is Missy Sommer, and I am a Mechanical Design Engineer with Phoenix Contact - http://www.phoenixcon.com I have been asked to investigate a coating that can be applied to one of our coupling nuts on our senor actuator box (SAC) cables. The nut is a zinc die-cast part with Ni plating on it. The key requirements from Marketing are as follows: Weld slag resistant - (this is the #1 attribute we are looking for) Color: black (if possible) When the nut is tightened, must pass IP68 Ambient temperature range of -30 to 105 degrees C I saw your website on the Internet because you do Teflon coatings, but to be honest with you, I am not quite sure if this is the correct path that I should be taking on this item.
