Inquiry (采购产品): Wooden Oil Barrels Please provide a quotation for several identical wooden barrels closely resembling the 1866-1870 oil barrels used in western Pennsylvania. Volume: 42 gallons; diameter at head is 21.5" and overall length if 34.5". Typically, made of oak, but we would also consider hemlock or pine. The iron bands holding the barrel staves together were usually one at each head and 3 or 4 between. The bung hole was usually drilled at the widest point in the circumference, between the middle bands. Wood usually untreated.
