Inquiry (采购产品): ceramic coated tube I need to have a single (for now) mild steel tube coated to protect sensitive electronics and fiber optics from ~800 deg. F temperatures. The tube has an OD of 1.25" and ~.031 wall thickness. It will be ~18" long. Thermal cycling is a concern as this device will go from ambient temperatures to ~800 deg. F in a very short time. It will remain at this temperature for a few minutes and then be removed to ambient. This will occur several times within a 15 minute timeframe. The hardness of the coating is less of an issue than its ability to insulate, as well as survive repeated thermal cycling.
