Plastic Ring fabrication Inquiry (采购产品): Plastic Ring fabrication Hello, My name is William Webb. I am a Chief Engineer for four office buildings in Torrance, Ca. In three of these buildings we utilize under floor plenum type air conditioning. In the raised floor, which is made up of 2' x 2' floor panels, some of these panels are actually blowers that help supply air to the occupied space. These blower assemblies have four round air grills that fit into four round holes in the fan box. There is a plastic collar that the round louvered vent locks into. These collars have a tendency to break from time to time, and unfortunately they are no longer available. It would be very expensive to replace these floor fans, so I am trying to find a solution to this problem. Unfortunately, I know nothing about plastics, other than the fact that almost anything can be made of plastic. I don't know the type of plastic these coloars are made from, but I do have dimensions, or even a sample I can supply you with so as to determine whether or not it is feasable and cost effective to fabricate these collars. If it is feasable we would be looking at an order of 300 to 500 of these rings. They are not complex in construction, so probably need little, if any machining. But then, I am not the "Pro" in that respect, you are.
