Inquiry (采购产品): Energy Saving Lamps ( CFL ) Now we would inform that State-owned " Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board " (BREB ) floated international tender for import of 4075000 Nos.Compact Fluorescent Lamps ( 13W ~ 14W & 20W ~ 23W ).Submission date of sealed offer at buyer s office is 21 December, 2010.We mention below following terms as per tender documents.1. *BID SECURITY (BS) : Each offer must accompany one bid security in the form of bank guarantee for USD 90000.00 ( U.S.Dollar Ninety Thousand ) for 4075000 nos. CFL lamps.This bid security must be issued by any bank operating in Bangladesh onbehalf of seller s bank. Validity of BS should be 90 days.2. *PERFORMANCE SECURITY ( PS ) : Successful bidder ( winner of the bid )must submit one Performance Security ( PS ) in the form of bankguarantee for ten percent ( 10% ) of total quoted CFR (C) value before signing of contract . Validity of PS should be one year .3.
