Seal needed Inquiry (采购产品): Seal needed The Type of seal that I am looking for is for sealing all openings in a Tank Truck, i.e. washout cap, Chicago fitting, dome lid, valves, etc. Because of the small openings that this wire will be feeding through (i.e. Chicago fitting, cap ears, etc), minimum requirements are 16-18 inch long wire (1/16 or 3/32 braided or solid wire). The tag portion would need to accommodate "Dow" and at least 7 digits starting at number 1. Seal Tag must be easily readable and integrated with the wire so that one end is fixed and the other slides in and locks (similar mechanics to a tie wrap where it slides and cinches and won't pull out once inserted). Tag portion would have to be plastic (may eventually go to Bar coding system) which we need to consider on the tag but it’s not a requirement at this time. Strength is a concern because of the general use and I do understand this limitation since the wire is so small. Definitely needs to be tamper evident. Also need to ensure that the tag itself would hold up since it will be exposed to the elements and also general chemical plant use. I will eventually need volume pricing for 75,000 seals per year for Michigan Operations and may be other opportunities to leverage to other sites if we are satisfied with the product and price.
