We have a large number of customers who want the system.Here is the basic descrip-tion of the Aladdin System.The system consists of a master control box and six slave modules that are connected via a RS485 communication bus. Each of the slave modules has up to eight analog inputs. These inputs are multiplexed to a microprocessor that formats the data and outputs it to a 75176 bus transceiver IC that sends the data to the RS485 communications bus. All of the slave modules operate from 12 VDC supplied by the master control box.The master control box repeatedly addresses each of the six slaves using a unique address for each slave. The slaves reply in turn, suppling the requested data to the master control box. This data is formatted by the master control box and is then displayed on the video monitor. Three joy sicks, in various locations, allow the user to scroll thru the pages of data displayed on the video monitor. In addition the master control box takes signals from the left and right turn indicators and the reverse transmission switch and selects the proper camera output and send the video information to the driver's monitor.
