Technology (UK) and Asia Sourcing (Hong Kong) seek manufacturers of MID's, Netbooks, Laptops, Desktop Computers and STBs that can produce a minimum of 50,000 units per month, in addition to meeting our other requirements. We need to know your production capabilities. We are happy to work with factories that can only supply PCBs or other components, but if you also provide final assembly, let us know.We use a Common Design, to simplify and decrease development timeWe will work together with selected manufacturers to convert your existing products to a Common Design. Using this Common Design will simplify Hardware and Software development, and also greatly reduce time needed to Upgrade, thus making your products more competitive andsubstantially increasing your exports.Adapt your MBs to integrate with our SoC designWe want our SoC (system on chip) to be easily removed and replaced (plug-able) into your Motherboard. The SO-DIMM will include the CPU, Nand Flash, micro SD card slot. PRODUCT SPECS * Low-Power Processors: We specifically wish to hear from factories who have products with low-power ARM and MIPS processors. If you wish to adapt and convert your existing Intel Laptop designs over to ARM and MIPS, then contact us. * Simpler Designs: We seek products with simpler designs: NO fans, heat-sinks or hard drives * Hi-Res Screen Size: Screen size must be 10- to 15-inch, with resolutions of 1024x600, 1200x720, 1280x768, 1388x768 or 1440x900. * Open Source Operating Systems (OS): We will ONLY use Linux, Android or Chrome OS. We will provide fully working Linux or Android or Chrome operating systems to your company, including giving you the full source code.
