Inquiry (采购产品): cutting plastic We are a gundrilling job shop. I am exploring the feasability of wj-cutting plastic sheet (like nylon?) about 1/8" thick into "chip deflectors" which are discs with a mostly round hole in the center. These fit onto the shanks of our gundrills and so we'd need a variety of hole sizes. The only odd thing is that the shanks are crimped tubes so there is a "V"-shaped "gutter" running the length of the gundrill. The deflectors need to have a wedge-shaped tooth in the hole to fit into the gutter. I can send a sketch if that will help. As I said, I am first trying to find out if this is even possible. A typical deflector might be 2.06 O.D. to fit a .500 diameter drill, or 2.86 O.D. to fit a 1.000 diameter drill. Any thoughts or questions?
