Inquiry (采购产品): silica high temp I'm looking for information on the flexability of the chemical composition for the silica high temp applications powder coats to have a "gel-like" finish. in other words the finish cannot be brittle and chip off, rather slide or move. Perhaps the resin itself can be adjusted so it can obtain a very slow cure. Maybe the curing process can be done at a lower temp and a final cure at a high temp when installed. The application is for a 409 stainless steel exhaust system for the purpose of sealing a joint. The powder coat can be brittle after installed on the exhaust and subjected to high temp, but not before installation. If this is possible, this is a very large volume expectation. There is many options which may present itself based upon your response. We are aware that powder coating is not intended to seal like a gasket, but in this application it will work. My name is chris cummings and i look foreward to hearing from you. **** Hidden Message ***** Chris Cummings 2430 East Walton Blvd Auburn Hills, MI 48326 USA Company: Torca Products Inc.
