Inquiry (采购产品): fuel tank lifespan what is the expected lifespan of one of your 500 gallon underground fuel oil tanks? We have one buried in 1979-80; no additional painting was done; the tank was buried without removing the rocks or doing any bedding. The soil is sandy clay in a reasonably wet area (high water table). It appears to be a single wall tank. Location:Stuarts Draft, VA The top surface I uncovered is heavily rusted, but not enough to rust through the tag retainer or the manufacturer name.
