Inquiry (采购产品): dispelling a myth I've heard from two sources in the glass industry that over time (how much wasn't said) that plate glass will settle slightly and that proof can be found if one measures thickness at the top and compares it to thickness at the bottom. Is this some kind of "urban ledgend"? I'm sorry to bother your company with this question but recently a college student I was talking to said that her professor informed her that glass "settling" was NOT true and he supposedly had a formula to prove it. As you are a manufacturer of glass and I have a natural skepticism of university professors these days I'd truly appreciate it if you could shed some light on this question. I would be forever thankful.
