Inquiry (采购产品): Application inquiry Pana Pacific is a value-added distributor of electronic equipment for the heavy duty truck industry. As part of our contract assembly process, we hand solder wiring harness leads onto speakers. Our current process includes wrapping the stripped end of the lead with wire solder to preclude the need to tin the leads and add wire solder at the soldering station. We process approximately 60,000 units per month. My goal is to improve throughput and reduce cost with a minimum investment in capital equipment and worker retraining. I understand that the primary application of solder paste is in the automated processing of printed circuit boards. I am investigating the possibility of using a lead free solder paste with a dispensing system to apply an annular coat to the stripped end of the leads immediately before the hand soldering operation. I believe that a no-clean type of flux would be best for our purposes, although I am certainly open to suggestions. I’m looking for help in selectingan appropriate alloy/flux combination and dispensing system for this process.
