Inquiry (采购产品): Looking for precision 316 stainless rod Dear Mr. or Ms. I have a new product application that requires three different lengths of 316 grade stainless steel. This product will be kept in a water bath so rust or corrosion will be a problem. The different lengths are 4.5”, 3.5”, 1.5” one end must be rounded off so that we can slide a connector onto it, the other end would need to be de-burred. The critical portion of this design is that the diameter of the stainless rod be 0.086 Inch +/- 0.001 Inch. My initial prototype and first year volumes will be low 40 of each. Sometime mid 2005 I expect to be starting production, the volumes when in production are forecasted at 30,000 per year. This is 30K of each length, totaling 23.75K feet per year. I am looking for a vendor that can either supply the small individual pieces or someone that can provide me with the 316 stainless rod meeting the tight diameter requirements. I would appreciate a quote for both please include quotes for the 80 foot low volume rod as well. If you require any special tooling or minimum runs let me know.
