Inquiry (采购产品): interior work we recently purchased a little 1910 home with a river rock fireplace. unfortunately, someone (many someones) painted over the rocks, and when we went to strip the coat of white latex paint, we found three or four more layers of paint that need to be removed. some of the paint is very old, and, i imagine, probably has lead in it as well. a few poeple have suggested sandblasting, rather than taking forever to scrape and gouge away so much paint in rocks that have such porous surfaces. another mason-supplier i spoke with said it would be too much of a mess, and was concerned about any lead dust residue. what is your opinion? is sandblasting an effective and safe option? if so, does your company provide such services? we live in highland park, near occidental college. thanks very much, jeff **** Hidden Message ***** jeff haas 90042 USA Company: homeowner E-mail: jplom@compuserve.com **** Hidden Message ***** jplom@compuserve.com
