Problem: This unit (unmarked)is connected to the exhaust system leading from a plasma cutter. A large amount of dark smoke/soot escaping from the smoke stack connected to the dust collector. My customer bought this unit second hand and did not realize the difference between smoke and dust collection. The filter cartridges he has been using are not only designed for debris collector but are also very old. The Ministry of the Environment has issued a work order to be completed by January. I will follow up with deadline in near future. Requirements: Put correct cartridges in place for collection of debris and smoke. (and/or system corrections) Air quality testing - once updates / corrections are made we will need to certify with air quality testing that the problem has been addressed and corrected.
