We are investigating a new design for our product that I believe would require the manufacture of a new "type" of bolt. I have concept sketches of the bolt, but basically, it is like a open ended connector bolt shaft with a hex bolt head on one end. It will need to be able to attach to a 1/2" steel threaded rod on the open end and the hex head would slip into a slot to hold it securely.
