Inquiry (采购产品): Reference request To whom it may concern: Greetings. I am seeking information that your company may be able to help with. I am trying to locate the Navsea or Navship tech manual for an old version of the Submarine Atmosphere Control Manual. I served onboard the the USS James Madison SSB(N) 627 from 1980-1984. Some of that time was in shipyard overhaul and shakedown cruises before beginning normal deployments. My billet onboard the Madison was in its Auxiliary Division; I stood the "Machinery 1" watch that maintained the two Treadwell 7L16's; and was tasked with overall atmosphere control equipment both out to sea as well as our crew's refits--this included the infamous Q-1-R for the O2 generators. At the time of my service the Ship's Atmosphere Control manual (it had a blue cover)was classified as Confidential--this is not a request for that manual and although I would anticipate updates to the manual since 1984 the specific tech manual # with revision of that era is what I am trying to locate. The reason I am contacting your company is that I recall in the appendix section of the 7L16 manuals (I believe it was in Volume 1 of 2) the manual was referenced and the EOG manuals were not confidential therefore I believe this manner of request does not violate any standing security issues and I hope I have given enough detail to offer some credibility for making sch a request.
