Inquiry (采购产品): Custom heating element Hello: I have a Maytag Dryer Center model Model MCG8000AWW that has an upper "drying cabinet". The cabinet works by using a tubular heating element to heat a small water reservoir which produces steam - the steam is what dries the clothes. The heating element is a tubular type, which turns the water into steam and has apparently burned out - I had a dryer repair technician at my home and he measured the resistance through the element and he said it was way off and probably not working. This model of dryer is no longer manufactured and the replacement heater element is no longer available from Maytag or any other source that I've been able to find. Is this something that you can repair/refurbish? Or do you know of any company that might be able to repair/refurbish/make on a one-off basis? I can send you pictures or the entire part if necessary. The element is about 10 inches long and coils back and forth a couple of times.
