I'm working on a project that requires a small pinion gear that will be attached to a small electrical motor. The pinion has a pitch diameter of 6.4 mm, with 10 teeth (.64 module) The inner diameter that would mate to the shaft under an interference fit is 1.95 mm. The materials we are look to use include brass or acetal. Production volumes for the program would be approx 500K per year. 2 stages of prototype testing of 200 pieces each would be required before production Would your company be able to support the manufacturing of this gear?
