Inquiry (采购产品): Splined coupling?? I recently purchased some splined couplings for a project. 1" shaft with a 6spline. I welded the coupling to a shaft and then placed it over the output shaft on a small tractor. The coupling splines lasted about an hour and then catastrophic failure of the splines. Completely wiped out and turned into powder. Can you tell me if I need to heat treat after welding or if there is another material? What is the material made of?
