Inquiry (采购产品): black oxide Good morning. Our company is Lee Linear and we are the oldest US manufacturer of precision case hardened and ground shafting. Several years ago our source for black oxide went out of business and we now have a good size quote from Kodak that requires black oxide. This would be on going business. We send out many shafts weekly for various plating, chrome, armoloy, nickel, passivate, etc. I am being asked to quote your best price on 150 pieces of 1/2" c1060 hardened shaft with 6 tapped holes with black oxide and 180 pieces of 1/2" c1060 hardened shaft with 4 tapped holes and black oxide. Our normal notes regarding black oxide would be to mount for plating with tapped holes facing down to trap air and reduce the salts that may get into the holes. Can you quote us price and delivery.
