Date of Employment - 8-06 to 2-08 Supervisor - Joe Cabral 1-(714)-930-1431 Average hours worked estimate 40-45 weekly m-f Position - Driving 10 wheel Ramp truck CDL class B Duties - Included delivering and picking up new, used, broken and repaired forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks and rental scissor lifts. I was responsible for Covering Eastern Ma., most of R.I. and very little N.H. I also completed a CAT Forklift Operator Safety Training course for sit-down counterbalanced products. Other duties included shop helper, road mechanic helper and installing batteries. I was responsible for sanding and painting used forklifts for rental or resale, helping in shop maintenance, delivering parts and supplies to road mechanics and some minor repair and maintainance on ramp truck. Duties included picking up and delivering crashed or totalled cars, trucks etc. from insurance auction yards to customers, such as Junkyards, auto body shops and shipping docks anywhere between Burlington , VT. to Mattawan N.J. States I covered are MA, NH, RI, CT, NY, NJ, ME and VT. Salary: My salary was a base salary of 500 per week plus commission . Average hours worked weekly 40 m-f Position: Truck Driver Duties included picking up damaged trucks and trailers and delivering them once they were repaired. Sometimes transfer of trucks, mostly rentals and some brand new from fleets like Ryder, Lily, Edart, Penske and Coca Cola, etc. I’ve driven most makes and different transmissions you name it, International, Mack, Freightliner, Ford, Sterling, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Hino, Nissan, Volvo, Kenworth and Peterbuilts, along with many different transmission types, from automatic to4,5,6,7,8,9 and 10 speed transmissions. I have also driven 28 foot to 53 foot trailers, including some Tank Trucks covering mostly MA, some RI and very littleNH.
