The wheel itself is in a high temperature environment while the motor is externally located and coupled to the shaft. Attached is a simplistic sketch of this. The requirements are: Wheel Diameter: 2 –2.5 inches Wheel Length: 32-36 inches Exhaust velocity: less than 10 feet per second Wheel Environment: < 250 C Motor Environment: < 25 C My questions are: Do you sell the wheels with shafts and motors separately? What is the maximum operating temperature of your wheels? What is the cross section of the plenum required? Flow direction? What am I missing?
