Inquiry (采购产品): University of Minnesota Green Project Good Afternoon, Hello my name is Omar Bukhowa and I am a student in the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management Entrepreneurship Program. For this program we are given financing by the school and a group of students creates and operates a real business with the profits going back into the entrepreneurship program and other non-profits. The business our group has chosen to pursue is a green business in the plastics industry. We will be using PLA(Polylactic acid / polylactide) plastic resin and our hope is to produce a bag product that is compostable / biodegradeable. We are thinking of two lines of bags right now, one which is a traditional garbage bag and the other which is a traditional grocery bag, both made of PLA plastic. We have a supplier for the plastic PLA pellets right now, but we need someone to turn the plastic pellets into a bag. We were informed that this may take 2 steps, one where the pellets are turned into thin sheets of plastics, and another where they are converted into the bag shape. I was wondering if your company would be able to do either one of these steps and if not could you give me a contact of someone who could help us?
