Inquiry (采购产品): UCLA Supermileage Vehicle Hello, My name is Philippe Gerretsen. I am a student at UCLA and the Vice-President of a student group that designs, builds and competes a highly fuel-efficient single person vehicle for the Society of Automotive Engineer's Supermileage Competition. We are currently looking for a company that could do some professional pipe bending for us. What we are looking for is a company that could bend 1.5 inch diameter 6061-T6 aluminum tube with 0.065 inch wall thickness, possibly using Mandrel Bending. The radii of bends are between 2 and 10 inches. There would be up to 8 bends on separate pieces or fewer pieces with more complexity. We are open to changing dimensions as needed. We have attached a picture of the chassis for our vehicle so that you can see where we would need the bending. We also have CAD drawings in SolidWorks that we could send. We are looking for a cost estimate and whether there would be any chance that you would be able to provide us with a material sponsorship in exchange for advertising space upon our vehicle.
