Inquiry (采购产品): Prototypes I am a farrier (blacksmith) in WV and I have a new idea for a type of horse shoe stud that is unlike any on the market. I don't want to give out too much detail at the moment but I am shopping around to see if I can find someone to make a few prototypes and the cost needed (estimate of course). They will be a screw in type of base around 5/16" with a screw height of 1/4". The head will need to have an extremely solid bond to the screw as this is where all the torque will occur. The head itself will be 1/8" thick and square to accommodate tightening. I have never done something like this before so bear with me. Can you recommend a steel? I am thinking H-13 or carbide but I am not sure what will be the most effective. I want to cover the head with a 1/8" thick layer of borium. **** Hidden Message ***** Michael Kendall 1409 North 14th St. clarksburg, WV 26301 USA Company: Kendall Farrier Services Title: Owner/Operator Phone: 304-641-7190 E-mail: badguybuster@msn.com **** Hidden Message ***** badguybuster@msn.com
