Inquiry (采购产品): Two stainless steel boxes? Hello, Can you fabricate something for me? I want to make two stainless steel boxes, with no top or bottom, one nested inside the other. The boxes should be 12 inches tall and about 3.25 inches across. When nested, the air gap between the two boxes should be uniformly 0.045 inches. This means that the welds have to be on the outside of the outer box, and the inside of the inner box. The boxes are made from flat stock between 1/16 and 1/8 inches inches in thickness. It might be easier to weld thicker material, but I don't know since I'm not a welder. To keep the inner box separated from the outer box, I will need four plastic strips very slightly less than 0.45 inches thick. The strips should be 12 inches long and about 1/4 inch wide. They may have to be sanded so they can be cemented between the boxes and keep them apart at a uniform distance of .045 inches. Finally, I would like two electrodes soldered or welded to the top of each box. The solder or weld for the outer box electrode must be on the outside and the solder or weld for the inner box electrode must be on the inside so that the welds don't short the boxes together. Can you fabricate this? How much will it cost?
