Inquiry (采购产品): RFQ I have a blueprint that calls out for a qty: 2 of 5" RD X 1-5/8" SI Bronze AMS 4615. From what I understand, AMS 4615 was cancelled and went to a 4616 which doesn't account for anything over 3". I was told that it is now ASTM B98 by a mil, but because this material is so confusing I contacted the engineer and here is what he replied with: "Reviewing the AMS 4615 shows the primary intent of the original design (I believe) was to specify the tensile strength of the material. AMS 4615 shows the required tensile strength to be 85ksi. The most applicable specification now seems to be ASTM B 96 for plate. The alloy that meets this tensile strength requirement is Copper alloy UNS C65500, H04 with a 85-99 ksi or H06 with a strength of 95-109 ksi." Please quote this if you can, if not, please advise me as to who might be able to. I am having great difficulties with this material. **** Hidden Message ***** Amanda Palka 7634 Central Industrial Drive Riviera Beach, FL 33404 USA Company: Industrial Technology Phone: 5618487272 Fax: 5618484631 E-mail: palkaa@industrialtech.com **** Hidden Message ***** palkaa@industrialtech.com
