Need Enclosure Customization Inquiry (采购产品): Need Enclosure Customization Hi, I created a low-volume electronics product that I'm currently building by hand, using an enclosure from Hammond Manufacturing (model 1593KGY (See http://www.hammondmfg.com/dwg8.htm)). I've built my PCBs so that they fit into this enclosure, and I'm happy with its dimensions. Customization of this enclosure involves me removing the internal PCB mounting bosses (the 4 standoffs on the floor of the enclosure), cutting approximately 13 square openings (6.5mm square, each) plus 5 small (~2mm diameter) holes in the inlay portion of the top, and one rectangular opening in one side panel, and a circular opening in the other side panel (for connectors to protrude). Modifying each enclosure by hand (with an Exacto knife) takes me around 30 minutes, and I'm starting to see my volume increase to the point where I don't think it's feasible for me to do this by hand anymore. Hammond quoted me a turnaround time of 6 weeks. I'd really like to try to get these enclosures sooner than 6 weeks, since time-to-market is essential at this point in the competitive environment I'm in. So, my questions are these: (a) Could you customize this enclosure if I give you a VISIO drawing of the openings I need, and (b) (Assuming I deliver the unfinished enclosures to you) What's the lead time for 50-100 units, and (c) What is the approximate cost involved?
