Inquiry (采购产品): Pug Mill application I am in the equipment business in the northern snow belt. Salt is becoming a big problem, both availability and costs. In order for salt to go farther and thereby cut costs, many people are looking at blending salt and liquid magnesium chloride. My very simple question is: would a Pug Mill be effective? A typical blending hopper would simply allow all the liquid to run out, defeating the purpose of cost savings. In terms of market potential, we cover 5 states. I estimate that there are 650-700 Salt Domes in our coverage area, all with the same problem. I live in northern Ohio in a county that is about 120,000 people, about average. This county, not to mention each city or township, spent over $600,000 in salt last year alone.
