Building a larger cliantal and great service keeps this division going. 03/2011-03/2007: BLASTHOLE DRILL MECHANIC Skilled repair work in the mechanical field that perform routine and preventative maintenance on large mining equipment including electric shovels, rotary blast hole drills and haul trucks. Duties include but are not limited to intermediate troubleshooting, repair, removal and installation of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical components. Load, unload, and move materials, parts, equipment and tools using forklifts, boom trucks, and overhead cranes.Document job progress, complete paperwork for work orders, etc 10/2004 – 03/2006: AIRCRAFT MECHANIC/INSPECTOR F-16C/D Performs inspection and troubleshooting on a variety of major aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components. Determines the nature of trouble and extent of adjustment or repair required on a number of major aircraft systems such as airframe, landing gear, power plant, gear boxes, pumps, and hydraulic, pressurization, utility, fuel, oil, pneumatic, and flight control systems. Determines when systems, assemblies, and components are operating properly; whether portions must be repaired or replaced; and the type of adjustment and alignment needed. Uses and maintains various standard and specialized tools and test equipment of the trade. Appropriately documents findings and work. Positions, maintains, disassembles, repairs, and reassembles major aircraft systems, their assemblies, and components. Efficiently completes major overhaul to routine maintenance, positioning and servicing of aircraft. Installs, aligns, and functionally and operationally tests the various major and minor mechanical and pneumatic systems on the aircraft during overhaul or modification. Uses such tools and equipment as wrenches, torque wrenches, speed wrenches, pneumatic wrenches, ratchet wrenches, and end wrenches. Determines the pattern of tightening and amount of torque to apply to assure a solid connection without overstressing parts. Uses precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and gauges. Tows, launches and recovers aircraft. May sign off on work performed by others, clear safety of flight conditions (i.e., Red-X’s), and release the aircraft to service. Checks aircraft forms for discrepancies during each work shift, clears discrepancies within capabilities and accurately annotates forms and/or automated records as to work performed. May provide on-the-job training (OJT) to lower grade aircraft workers and others in related trades on aircraft maintenance practices, technical aspects of new/modified systems and components, and safety procedures. Accomplishes operational and maintenance record keeping, both manual and automated, associated with aircraft maintenance and repair. Documents work performed on appropriate forms, definitive sheets, AFTO Form 781 series, and Core Automated Maintenance Systems (CAMS) or GO81computer terminals, as appropriate. Initiates requisitions for needed parts and supplies and technical publications. STANDARDS: A. Effectively repairs, reworks, and replaces components or parts of systems in accordance with applicable technical orders and specifications. B.Efficiently performs major overhaul on systems, their assemblies, and components. C Properly uses tools and equipment. D.
