Inquiry (采购产品): Greenfield Inferior Vena Cava Filter I am looking for information on a Greenfield Inferior Vena Cava Filter that was inserted in my mother in February of 1989 at Washington Hospital, Washington PA. I believe that it is made of either stainless steel or titanium, as the titanium filter was introduced in 1989. She needs to have an MRI, but the doctors are unsure as to the material the filter is made from and do not want to do an MRI, as if it were made from a magnetic material, the results could mean a tear in the aorta, and instant death. To my knowledge, stainless steel and titanium are not magnetic. Is there any way to obtain more information on the Greenfield Inferior Vena Cava Filter.
