Inquiry (采购产品): friction materials I am trying to find a suypplier of shet friction material of 3.5mm thickness with which to have internal involute splined clutch plates water jet profiled. They will be for motorcycle clutch use in clutches as shown in attachment which will probably be going into small batch production in the UK and USA IF I can sort out the frictuion material!!! The IDEAL material would be the olde DON112 asbestos based material which has a dry C of F for design purposes of 0.34 and a shear strength of 9000psi.(Unfortinately my stock of them is running out fast as I fit them to friends belt drive systems I cobble together for their olde Brit so called 'classic' race bikes.) With its beautiful engagement characteristics I suspect the dynamic and static C of F valuesare very close. Thusthe question is...do you manufacture a material that would give the characteristics required?
