Inquiry (采购产品): static balancing of engine shaft I am trying to statically balance an engine shaft installed with a counterbalance. What standard do you use to determine whether a part is balanced? Is there a specific allowable torque (determined by the weight or size of the part) that will not cause the part to begin rotating if it is balanced? I'm trying to determine if there is a specific weight I can add to my apparatus with a specific moment arm so that if the part is balanced, it will not begin to settle to a different position. The assembly in question is about 6 inches in diameter and weighs around 5 pounds. **** Hidden Message ***** Chris Overby 21030 USA Company: AAI Corporation E-mail: overby@aaicorp.com **** Hidden Message ***** overby@aaicorp.com
