Inquiry (采购产品): coating Our company develops an heat exchanger to process fluids by partly freezing the fluid to 50 micron frozen particles from within the fluid. We where using till now stainless steel but we have encountered a problem and we hope your experience with coating can help us find a solution. When fluid has PH 3, the friction between the surface of the heat exchanger and the micro-frozen particle dissolves Iron from within the SS 316 and after 8 hours of recirculating we found 10 times more concentration of Iron in the fluid. (from 0.5 ppm to 5 ppm). We think we have to isolate the SS or Iron from the liquid by an hydrophobic and hard, whear resistant coating. Temperature of liquid entering the heat exchanger is 8C and outgoing -2C with 30% frozen liquid micro-particles. I can send you the cylinder drawing of the heat exchanger (interior surface finished with honing and is the one to be coated). I hope you can help us, Best regards, Victor Lewitus CEO Freeze Solutions Ltd.
