Inquiry (采购产品): Ring Seal for turbo Hello, we are looking for someone to manufacture some parts for us that are used in a Turbo. We need metallurgical analysis of each part and have them made from the same quality material. The top seal has two rings, like piston rings, that keep the oil from getting above it to the impeller. They wear over time and occasionally they will stick and burn up and damage the mounting ring. ( pic – Seal & Snap rings w Mount ) The mounting ring goes into the top of the top plate and a bearing goes on the bottom of the top plate. When the bearing gets sloppy the outer race of the bearing wears a groove in the Top Plate, so the Top Plate needs to be replaced or the new bearing will not sit straight. ( Pics- Bottom showing bearing wear & 2 ) This plate is below the impeller and above the motor ( pic – Top Plate in Turbo ) We also need the bottom bearing mount, below the motor, manufactured because we are having a hard time removing the outer race from the mount.
