Inquiry (采购产品): Grinnel Co. Installation I realize that this is a great "shot in the dark", but I am hoping that you may be able to provide me with information from Grinnel Co. archives concerning the Grinnel Company's installation of a sprinkler system at the Three Toms Inn in Thomasville, Georgia...... around 1900. I do not know the exact date of the hotel construction but would estimate it to be sometime between 1900-1930. I now own the property on which the hotel once stood and am experiencing problems with water under and around my house from an unknown source. The old hotel had a Grinnel Sprinkler system as evidenced by the Grinnel Valve that is still in place next to a firehydrant in my backyard (once the front yard of the hotel). It has been proposed that possibly the water supply and pipes for the sprinkler system were not removed from underground at the time of the hotel's demolition and this may be the source of the water issue with my house which was built in the 1970's and sits inside the foundation of the old hotel. As unlikely as it is, I thought I would inquire as to whether or not there were any records remaining from the Grinnel Company (which through mergers, etc. I undersand is now Anvil Internation, Inc.)that might lead me to the location of the pipes such that I do not have to dig up my entire yard to find them. Complicating the matter is that during the demolition of the hotel, much of the debris (tons of concrete and brick) were buried in my yard. You can understand that this makes locating the pipes with traditional methods extremely difficult. Thank you in advance for any information you can offer, and your kind consideration of my request.
