Inquiry (采购产品): roll forming die MIT has developed and licensed a technology for roll forming bus wire for the photovoltaic industry which recovers 85% of the light otherwise shaded by the front surface metalization and lost. This is done by rolling a shallow angle pattern into the silver plated copper bus wire which reflects and captures the light by total internal reflection. We demonstrated this using a diamond turned nickel roll forming die. The nickel die is not suitable for scaling this process for production. Are you capable of turning or grinding cylindrical grooves into a tool steel or carbide rolling die with an included angle of 124 degrees on a 0.006" pitch? If so, I will send a drawing.
