Inquiry (采购产品): Railcar Overhaul Project I am researching heavy equipment packaging companies to work directly with our team for an overhaul project we intend to bid. Specifically, I am the General Manager for Kawasaki Rail Car, Inc. located in Yonkers, NY. We manufacture railcars for transit authorities including New York City Transit, Long Island Railroad, Port Authority Trans Hudson, etc. As an overview, our process will involve the removal of identified components and assemblies, parts identification including location where removed, placement of components/assemblies in packaging assuring preservation for routing to internal operations work centers, interim storage, and movement to OEM for parts reconditioning. The parts would return to the original railcar and location for reinstallation. We are looking to work with packaging experts to help us define our packaging needs to meet this project requirement.
