Inquiry (采购产品): US Navy Antenna Sirs: I am a contractor supporting the US Navy GPS Program office in a procurement action for the purchase of multi-element anti-jam antennas for the AV-8B aircraft. The current antenna, the GPS Antenna System, GAS-1N is currently being installed on the entire fleet of USMC, Spanish, and Italian aircraft. The original contract has expired and we are in the process of staffing a new contracting action to procure a final buy of these antennas. A sole-source Notice was posted on 29 July, 2010 stating the Navy’s intention to award this final contract to the original developer of the GAS-1N. The notice can be found under Naval Air Systems Command, NAVAIR HQ, Title: GAS-1N Antennas for the AV-8B Marine Corps Fleet Aircraft. The notice expired with no responses received. I am attempting to determine if there are any manufacturing companies with the ability to build and qualify this antenna that may have an interest in this effort.
