Going through our database, we have noticed that we have either received or shipped radioactive material to your facility. From a corrective action, AECL RAM Shippers have been advised to obtain Consignee Site Licenses prior to releasing Radioactive Material (RAM) Shipments. For Domestic radioactive shipments above the exemption limit for possession (not the exemption limit for shipment), the AECL RAM Shippers require a .pdf copy of your current facility license to be forwarded to me as soon as possible. Your facility copy of the license will be retained on file until it expires. Once the site license has expired, we will require the new site license. The AECL RAM shippers will review your site license, when required, to ensure that your facility is permitted to possess the shipped quantity of the radionuclides.
