I am currently doing my project in a company in Newcastle. In case of this company, the Heat Treatment process can involve not only one job but, depending of de volume of jobs; the furnace could fit a maximum of 20 jobs. Because of the fact that the Heat Treatment process is done in parallel and not in continuous, it arises the problem of capture of the right heat treatment costs. Things that the (ERP E-MAX Systems), software used by the company does not allow. So, part of my project is to make a research about the Open-Die forging to know what methods are used by different companies to capture the heat treatment costs of parts to be treated. Because of your reputation in the open die forging, I have appealed to your help. So it would be very kind of you to enable me by the following information: ? If you are using E-MAX Systems, how are doing to capture the heat treatment costs of parts and providing a virtual localization of JOBS within the planed scheduling? ? If not, which ERP software are you using and what methods are you using to capture these costs? ? Which ERP software, you think, would be ideal to treat Open-Die forging? I also would like you to provide me with the procedure that is used by your company to perform the Estimating, the Job Order and the capture of Time and Costs.
