Inquiry (采购产品): Polishing Request I’ve got a requirement to polish 5,000,000 pieces per year of an automotive ball stud component. I would like to discuss this requirement with you to determine if you can assist us in meeting this need. We are a commercial heat treating company that is planning to nitrocarburize these components. After nitrocarburizing, these parts need to be polished back to a 2 Rz surface finish with very minimal removal of material to preserve the surface treatment that we apply to the parts. We currently process these parts in Europe and our plants there have performed the polishing themselves in-house along with outsourcing these parts as well. We’d probably be open to either option.
