Inquiry (采购产品): TiB2 We are steelmaker company having two hot dip galvanizing lines within our facility. Our galvanizing process comprises the strip immersion in a melted Zinc-Aluminum-Antinomy bath. With the following specifications: 1. Pot size: 75 Ton 2. Chemistry: ? Aluminum: 0.18 – 0.25% ? Antimony: 0.01 – 0.02% ? Zinc: Balance 3. Temperature: 465 – 475 °C 4. Maximum zinc consumption: 24 ton/day 5. Material to be galvanized: cold rolled strip steel In the above conditions we are producing commercial quality galvanized steel with regular spangle finishing and our intention is to get Minimum spangle material for subsequent painting process and for manufacturing EMT (Electrical metallic tubing). Some time ago we heard in a technical meeting that adding small portions of TiB2 (0.0012% in wt) it is possible to obtain spangle size between 400 – 500 microns, which correspond with minimum spangle finishing. Are you familiar with this application? Have you ever supply TiB2 to any customer having galvanizing line? What would be the right procedure for adding this compound in a pot of having a capacity of 75 Tons of Zinc? Please send me a quotation for this compound. Best regards.
