Inquiry (采购产品): Oil leak at front spindle bearing Our model RR club has a Model "EE" lathe that has a bad oil leak at the front of the spindle. I was wondering if one of the old timers could tell me if we can replace the front spindle oil deflector by removing the front bearing retainer plate or must we disassemble the main shaft to do the job. I tried to remove the retainer plate but ran into a lot of resistance so I quit fearing that I might do damage. Thanks for any help you can give me.
