We are actively seeking sources of Nitroglycerin Mixed Acid (NGMA) meeting the requirements of the attached purchase description 367059 NGMA Purch Description 2010, Revision 2, dated 10/15/2008. Your company has advertised that you manufacture this material. Please advise if you are currently in manufacture of Nitroglycerin Mixed Acid (NGMA). This product is a mixture of nitric acid and sulfuric acid. Please advise on the following: 1. Does your material meet the requirements of the attached purchase description? 2. If it does not, please provide information about the closest matching material that you can produce. 3. What is the country of origin for this material? 4. Do you currently have sufficient capacity to produce an additional 5,000,000 pounds each year? 5. What is your lead time? 6. What is your FOB point? 7. What is your current price? Also, please provide a copy of your production specification with your reply. I request that you reply not later than September 15, 2010. Currently ATK in Radford purchases approximately 5,410,343 pounds annually. This request contains no ITAR defined technical data. If GFS Chemicals chooses not to submit pricing, we request a receipt of this proposal by checking the applicable explanation(s) below: Vendor cannot meet initial spec requirements.
