I will pay YOU $2500 if you connect me with a buyer who needs this machine. Here is a description from the owner... Here are the basic details on the machine: It is called a pre-breaker and is designed to crush pallets, reels, boxes and such bulky wooden materials (also doors, crates and up to a certain extend solid wood like timber beams). It could possibly be used for other scrap as well but we have not tried this particular machine. We took it as a $100k trade in about 10 years ago and have never used it. It was in excellent running condition when we took it in and the motors and control panel are stored inside. The machine has two solid steel rotors 100 inches long and 16 inches in diameter and each has 22 supersized cutters that work in either direction and can be rewelded and sharpened when needed. The rest of the machine is made from very heavy steel plate and bar. it weighs over 30,000 pounds plus the frame and the conveyor. The conveyor is 30 feet long and 4 feet wide and driven with a superduty permanent magnet drum (16 inch diameter) The motors on the machine are 4 x 40hp (480 V) and the conveyor is either 5 or 7.5 hp - I did not check that. The previous owner ran an average of 20,000 pounds of pallets and boards through the machine per hour to be then further chipped up for mulch. This machine saved him a lot of time and removed a lot of the dangerous metals that could damage his chipper. but it is also great as a standalone unit to reduce the volume of materials to be shipped and separate metals. We can only sell it without any warranty or promises. The original manufacturer is long out of business and gone but this thing is easy to work on. The motors are metric and the gearboxes are German made and high Dollar units. If you were to buy a similar size machine in this configuration today, with the belt and magnet, it would cost you almost $ 250,000 and I am confident that with a litle work this thing can be like new again. I need to move it FAST - preferrably before the end of the tax year - and we can sell it as is with all the parts we have, even a full set of 44 replacement cutters still in the box (those alone were $ 280 a piece back then) You see, the parts alone are worth much more than the package deal. If the sale is in cash we can do it as scrap and no tax, otherwise we have to charge the standard sales tax depending on the buyers certification and rate. We will hire a 50 ton crane (minimum) to load this machine on a flatbed or lowboy trailer safely - I have to insist on the crane for insurance and liability reasons since it is on company property. I really have not much more info but this bad boy runs so slow and has so much torque, it can crush almost anything you feed it. We have paid (in trade) close to 100K for it at the time.
