Inquiry (采购产品): Plastic forming to Automotive vehicles Good afternoon Steller Plastics, my name is Tony Rubio and I am the Welding Applications Supervisor for a worldwide automotive tooling supplier, KUKA Systems Corporation North America Operations. What I am looking for is someone with the knowledge / capabilities to heat and form plastic, acrylic, acetate or whatever material that Steller would prefer/suggest that would work best; I need someone with the ability to form this material to fit in and out of contours of a vehicle on the BIW side of things. What we do with these templates is use them for spot location references that the average line worker can hold up against the vehicles to compare / verify spot locations. I am relying on Steller plastics to think up the best option I have to form material that is easy to work with but gives me the stiffest results in the end so these templates stay consistent and fixed. Our company does a lot of work for Ford, Chrysler, GM, Volkwagon & Mercedes This is a big opportunity for a supplier to create these templates because in the manufacturing world, this helps the end user as a quick reference to success.
