Inquiry (采购产品): ORP in Fruits Dear Sirs, I work as supplier and consultant for fruits and vegetable producers and processors in Brasil. I recently expanded my business by selling Chlorine (Calhipo and/or Dichlor). Now I want now to go for a second step by selling ph and ORP controllers. Most part of the producers are using chlorine (from 50 to 200ppm) as a sanitizer and normally at low temperatures (about 34 Fo). As you know, measuring and controlloing this ppm chlorine are not easy or cheap. I have found references in internet about the bacteriological control with an ORP higher than 750 mV. But these references are only “statements” and do not include a paper or tests clearly demonstrating the effectivinees of it. And to sell the concept it is mandatory that I show to my clients papers writen by a reputable university (or similar), demonstrating the efficiency of the control with ORP. If I can do it I certainly could sell then ORP process instruments and a few portable ones for field work. So, I am asking the following: 1. Could you help me to find papers demonstrating the efectivinees of the sanittzation control with ORP, for fruits and vegetables? 2. What would be the FOB cost for a ORP Process Control, monitoring and registring pH, ORP and temperature? 3. What would the cost for those small portable instruments to measure pH, ORP,Temperature. Is there only one that does all 3 parameters? If not what can I measure and what are the costs?
